Any #Canadian #Lawyers know if I've got this right? My Grandfather was born in the USA to french Canadian citizens*, so he had canadian citizenship (even though he never used it). So under C-3 my father qualifies and because of that so would I and my kids. But my kids would have to live in Canada for at least 3 years before passing it to further kids born after 2025* right? (If those kids were also born in the US obv.) *At least one, not sure how to verify their births since these would have been two undocumented kids or young adults born around 1900 who seem to have given their birthplaces as being in the US sometimes and sometimes in Canada for obvious reasons.

Looks like I'll remain a yankee doodle anarchist, despite most of my family being sure they were born in Quebec everything I can find on my Great Grandparents insists they were born after their parents emigrated. Still if you have Canuk grandparents or parents its worth looking into. Might apply anyway and see if they have better records than I do lol.
