I encourage students to bring their creative work to class to share with us. I hang art and allow them to share a dance routine with us. And today a student brought in his guitar and sang us the most beautiful heartbreaking country song. There were people gathered in the hallway listening to him sing. If I weren't seeing them as whole, multidimensional people, we wouldn't have had this amazing experience. #education #highered #teaching
