About Iran, Trump said he will "bring them back to the Stone Ages". Not "send", but "bring". I think this is a telling choice of words.
Also telling is how certain media outlets massage his choice of words to be more idiomatic for their headlines. When I searched for 'Trump stone age bring', here's what I was shown: CBS (Face the Nation) and NBC news both used "send" in their video headlines, while Al Jazeera used the accurate verb "bring".
