@niobleoum@nekosat.work @Zettour@gearlandia.haus @rhyse@gearlandia.haus I think the bigger issue with music players is instead of being spergs developing them around some microcontroller and a screen (think like the S1 MP3 players from "back in the day" that used a Z80) they just take some Android design, slap a logo and maybe some DAC on it, and call it a day. They're just Galaxy Players or iPod Touches with a new coat of paint but sold to audiophiles instead of that broke kid at school whose mom has a Verizon contract and bought him another Samsung Alias 2.
