The story of 'pop art'. - I don't know anything about art, but would like to be an artist today. Hm.. What if I copy this famous cartoon, change some colours/text, and call it 'art'? - Dude, that's just a ripoff from thi- - OMG did you say 'art'? I'll buy it for 60k! (not to enjoy, but so I can resell it for 80k! Hahaha!) - OMG this guy just copied a drawing and sold it for 60k! MUST BE A REAL ARTIST. And there you have it. Same goes for copying soup-can designs. #popart
