@Faintdreams@dice.camp I've shared an article. Hooking up one's scrotum to a saline drip to make it inflate to elephantine proportions with all associated health risks takes the cake for me

@erikcats@dice.camp My original post was never about the activity attached to the word, but the existence of the word in, and of, itself as a descriptive concept. It's roots in 'Looksmaxxing' - and the entire mess associated with that term - is the point. My point was that whimsymaxing is fruit of the poison tree and a use of English that is .. counter-productive at best. It's Double Plus Ungood - and if you understand that phrase, then you can hopefully see what I was referring to
