@nathansnelgrove@mastodon.social @stroughtonsmith@mastodon.social i dunno. It always seemed like he knew what the issues were, had a plan, made the smart tough plays when he could. He was airdropped into the Xbox One fiasco, and under Microsoft’s leadership which seems to be in its nadir w/r/t product in general.
That said. It seems like the classy/savvy thing to do would be to resign when they had their massive layoffs, either in protest or by way of taking responsibility. Seems like a bit of a waste doing it now

@leon@peoplemaking.games @stroughtonsmith@mastodon.social I don’t have the impression he knew what the issues were, outside of the One launch. He kept the bad names, released exclusives before they were ready, cancelled everything the fans were looking forward to, and botched the Series generation entirely. When he finally righted the exclusives ship, he made them multi platform. Every decision he made was bad.
