In 2006 I really wanted an MSN Messenger account, cuz my older brother used it all the time, and my mum said "you can have one when you're 13" And so 7 years later on my 13th birthday I finally downloaded it. Only problem was it was 2013 and there was nobody left to talk to on it. My mum had no memory of telling me to wait, and had no idea I'd been biding my time.
