It's great that Mastodon notifies you when a post you've boosted or faved is edited, but it's strange that there's no notification when a post you've replied to or quoted* is.
(I was in a "discussion" a while back where I questioned a statement by some chump and he after a while edited his post making it look like I didn't read it before replying, and I didn't see it until some hours later.)

@Mabande@mastodon.social For reply… IMO it is not necessary. You can always use fav, as the most common use for it is "i have been here". For quote… yes, it should send notification.
