Any tips on starting a local #buynothing group that isn't hosted on one of the closed networks?

@KevinFreitas@mastodon.social oh this is fun, it would work well for tagging things that other people put out too. We have a local "clean up week" that ends up with lots of stuff on the curb. You can add East Grand Forks, MN and Grand Forks, ND if you'd like.
