@greg@pettingzoo.co #Caltrain had this feature back when it started in the 1980s (and so did the Southern Pacific trains that preceeded Caltrain). At some point the flipping seats on the gallery train cars were replaced by the current fixed seats. Unfortunately I have no memory of exactly when or why this changed…
