Since the 1957 Civil Rights Act, the DOJ's Civil Rights Division has traditionally enforced federal laws protecting equal rights and defending the right to vote. Now, under Trump and AG Pam Bondi, it is being directed to undermine civil rights, and look for opportunities to go after companies who maintain DEI policies, and protect the rights of their employees.
