If UK Labour MPs had any sanity at all they'd be screaming for Clive Lewis to stand for leader. And they'd give him the job. Then elevate Andy Burnham to the House of Lords ASAP. Once there Burnham can become Chancellor of the Exchequer. (Unorthodox, but doable AFAICT) Give John McDonnell Foreign Secretary and Angela Rayner Home Secretary. Then you might actually have a Labour government with the talent to make the changes the UK needs, and the ability to communicate it to the electorate.
