Found out I didn't get a job I was really hoping for today. Thankfully, I've kept applying for other gigs, but it sucks to feel like you aced the interview, then get an automated "Thank you for your interest" email.

@eldavephoto@dice.camp My last job where I was a hiring manager the rule was “if you made it to the interview, you got a personal response.” Rejection is always going to sting, and especially in this economy there are so many great people looking for work that it’s a crap shoot; the least we can do is be humane.
