@dekompozycja@mastodon.com.pl I actually had two concepts in mind when I drew this! The first one is what everyone sees: monsters dancing while the world burns. But the other, less obvious meaning is that this parade of oddities is us: the ordinary people trying to get by in deranged times. We're closer to being monsters than we want to think, and we're more guided by reflex and automated logic than we want to believe, but we're still trying to maintain some irrational optimism in a deeply hostile environment.
