Lately I am finding myself less and less willing to consume media that revolves around the Salem witch trials being events that were in any way justified. They just aren't, and I don't think that media that white-washes what was an act of in-effect state sanctioned mass murder is something I want to support. I get that it is an event capturing the imagination of people,. but if we're going to write around those events, I'd much prefer something that doesn't denigrate the victims.
