At last: self-hosted #GitLab Runner, meet self-hosted cache! No more remote object storage with bizarre rate limiting, so no more cache pull/push timeouts and absurdly long jobs. For those interested, I’m using s3proxy backed by a regular ZFS dataset. Next up: move to #Forgejo Runner. That’s gonna take a while ’cause of the changes in Forgejo v15, though. I fully intend to procrastinate.
