@limebar self-hosting e-mail in Current Year is also a PitA if you actually need to reliably communicate with e-mail with like a solid 99.99% certainty. I use Proton, because I've seen enough from them that even though our values don't 100% line up (I really wish they hadn't gone into AI and crypto shit) I trust that I don't have to trust them. They could be storing unencrypted versions of my files and data, but I'll take that over other companies 100% for sure storing unencrypted data AND analysing it for keywords to sell targeted ads at me.
