@Adam_Cadmon1@mastodon.online I'm a relatively old guy at this point. I've been around for a bunch of wars and conflicts. So when I went online and saw the first reports of the attack, I immediately just closed the tab and kept away from the news for the next 24 hours. It's like... I've seen how ugly people get next. How bluntly, stupidly, bloodthirsty so many use excuses to be. And I'm just largely noping out. Brutality does not excuse brutality. It's a feedback cycle that eats civilian lives.
