Someone’s just told me that my drawings remind them of Karl May’s books. Thanks, I suppose, but I’m not really in adventure stuff. Someone like Edgar Allan Poe would be more my thing. A bit spooky, dark, maybe some blood here and there. Maybe I do need to work (or adjust) on my style a bit more after all. :D

@cantdoxthedrox@mastodon.wolfssocial.space I think it's because of the poncho and "western style" (for the lack of a better word) that creates some sort of adventure feeling. If that makes sense? Just add a few tentacles here and there and go straight for Lovecraft!
