Meeting and taking to USAians about the rest of the world is an infuriating experience. They are incapable of introspection and they practically go cross eyed when I start listing the things they have done in my lifetime, let alone the fun laundry list of atrocities. This goes for Europeans and the English too.

A Qatari I know who games with Europeans got into an argument with them about why he’d rather his country work with China and Russia, and they legit thought saying awful actions on their part was from ten years ago and doesn’t count was some kind of solid argument; they also said America led the war against Iraq and that makes it America’s fault, not any Euro country, and they also point to any meager resistance on the part of Euro governments to Israel proves their countries aren’t in bed with Israel (yes, they actually think their governments are blameless in the Gaza genocide); he said they were Eurocentric and racist and they blew a fuse, lol
