No not really. With sap you get enterprise support response, a massive pool of specialists to hire from and a base that makes it easy to build exactly to your needs. If your business is good it doesnt matter that you spend more on sap because at the end of the day it gets out of the way and let’s you focus on your business. I dont see many businesses that want to build their own solution and maintain it.
