I love Japan, but even now, over 15 years since I lived there, I still get TRIGGERED when I think of this sentence: “We HaVe FoUr DiStInCt SeAsOnS~~” Don’t even talk to me about “distinct seasons”. SOME parts of Japan get a distinct winter, but most Canadians look at the seasons and laugh because their winter is envious. In the span of 12 months in my area of Canada, our temperatures will range from -40° to 40°c. Hell, even this week, it was 30° feeling like 36° but tonight we have a frost warning and I’m using an electric blanket because I refuse to put the heater on again.
