@kevin@fedi.kbg.sh the main difficulty i have is skipping words and sometimes even whole clauses which are clear if i shift into copyediting mode but the typos can be quite blatant in other mental states. i'm not sure how representative this difficulty is of other dyslexics whom i believe are known to experience character-level transposition or skips (i'm unfamiliar with the jargon or diagnosis criteria here). i would suspect that word-level errors might correspond to hieroglyphs but as you say i'm really uncertain how precisely that might manifest or specifically whether letter vs e.g. chinese hanzi vs hieroglyphs tend to be easier or more difficult for dyslexics
