@tippitiwichet@mastodon.social I wish I were rich because I am not good with money and budgets. Maybe if I were, I would be rich, but then I wouldn’t have to be good with money. It feels like a catch-22.

@superflippy@mastodon.xyz The only way out of that loop is to look around at what you have, and realize you have more than many people do. I learned that when I realized the peeps around me with tons of cash weren't happy. I kept the lesson with me when I was on the street, even when I only had an intact body to be grateful for. Some of my peers were missing limbs. I came out of the experience knowing the only thing I need, I can carry on my back. I live in a trailer. I am happy.
