@mel@NerdJoy.social I’m watching too. Epi 5. It’s… different!
I’ve decided to just sit back and let it unfurl. I did that for MyLibNotes and Lost which became some of my fave dramas of all time.
At times I think it is about what it really takes to be creatively successful (help & collective support) vs the idea of individual genius.
It also seems to be about how just a tiny bit of kindness & help or human emotional connection can literally save a life. Very much, as you said, like My Mister.

@AnnaAnthro@mastodon.social @mel@NerdJoy.social Yes. I haven't yet watched any shows this weekend, but I believe that it's unfurling in a slowly hopeful way. The 2 leads, in particular, are facing incredible hopelessness in the beginning, and their characters are pretty frustrating. I'm very hopeful for them. There are a bunch of incredible actors in the show. I was thrilled to recognize the frequently used railway crossing from My Mister, which I visited in Seoul. A visual metaphor. #kdrama
