@lain@lain.com well, if people would not tolerate advertising, i think other monetisation models might take off pretty quickly.

@sofia@chaos.social @lain@lain.com i hate ads, but i think without ads a monopoly might be harder to break. like it is good if someone has a new better product and people need to learn about it somehow. but in general i think ads make sad and are a waste of attention and time.
