Wouldn't that limit its usefulness as far as communication external to the country? Plus it's LOS so they can't really hide the nodes from the regime unless you camouflage it in another device. They've started blocking Starkink to a large extent as well.

@Clem@theforkiverse.com @EvilCartyen@mstdn.dk @toothless@theforkiverse.com @pj@theforkiverse.com I think the default is 3 of 5 hops max. If you set that much higher, there's a risk you'll flood the band. With clear line of sight, 3-5 hops might get you 50+ km.
