@edgeofeurope@mastodon.social @TarkabarkaHolgy@ohai.social As I said, there are expectations. Not going with them is either a creative choice, or it's a mark of being lazy/hack/destitude. Compare Troy (2004) which made the choice of not including anything supernatural. I'd say it was creative. I have no idea was it good. (Don't really like war/battles as a story genre.)
