@ernie@writing.exchange @kevinjardine@mastodon.social I honestly had no problem with that. G+ was low effort, low stress, and pretty civilised. It was the first social media platform I bothered using, and didn't I move to another until about 5 years after they killed it. It would certainly have degenerated into yet another ad-fest, but when they killed it, it was great.
