Yes, the Westcoast maniacs are a different breed so I separate good and bad Yankees. That's it. The key for folks moving into the South is simple. Be a good guest. Have some reverence for the culture that attracted you in the first place. Recognize the slower pace, the gentile and wonderful accents, and know you are mostly welcome until you make yourself a pariah. For many "bad" Yankees, they damn themselves with grating voices and terrible attitudes within moments of stepping foot on our hallowed ground. Blood and soil is a thing. So again Charles, welcome to the greatest culture on the planet. It's getting more valuable by the day! God Bless The South!

@RebelDirtFarmer@poa.st @pinemarten@poa.st @ArmchairEconomist01@poa.st I think my nephews are doing good. All the older women they work with call them 'hon. One of them gave them her husband's power recliner because he got a new one, and one of the girls they work with just gave them a bunch of cloths that belonged to their boyfriend. Supposedly he didn't need them any more. This after I told them both they needed to find a girlfriend, if only so there would be someone to buy them cloths and get them to dress properly. They've both said they are going to hold off on women for a couple three years so they can pay off most of the balance of the house. Part of me is proud of them and their discipline, the other half wants to wrap them in the head with a stick and tell them to get on with life and get a girlfriend.
