I'll grant you the volume of denial coming from the US right wing over climate change is sufficient to power the turbine hall on the Aswan High Dam …

@cstross@wandering.shop @gatesvp@mstdn.ca Thatcher came into power in 1979, that's one generation (34 years) after WW2. Reagan came into power in 1981, more than a generation ago. They stopped naming airports after him because now everything is named after Trump… US denial is not only about climate change, but also its ability to build public infrastructure.
