@harry_wood@en.osm.town Thanks, what a fantastic read! It leads me to wonder... if postcodes, which are the only blocker in this situation, can be omitted, then maybe there's a way forward?! So what to use instead - I wonder if an open postcode alternative that encodes the UPRN with some spatial clues could work. I made a non-spatial word encoder last year, https://joeldn.srht.site/site/post/mnemonic-place-encoder.html, but an encoding that reveals something about the location itself will be my next move I think.
