@menelion@dragonscave.space I tried it and have a suggestion: make the default location for converted images be the same folder the source image is in. I can't imagine a scenario where I wouldn't want them to be in the same folder (and instead some other catch-all folder on the computer), but if there are any, that could be an option. But it's not practical as a default behavior.

I actually did have it set up this way in a prerelease version, but then we thought that it can easily be messy, especially with folders with multiple images and givne that SIC! doesn't allow you to rename images as of now. For example, a blind person (and we design with blindies in mind as I myself am blind) has a folder with photos sent by messenger like Telegram. Those are notorious for having incomprehensive long names like 5123786475387163721_121.jpg. If someone converts one or several images and they are put to the same folder… finding them becomes a quest. So yeah, I get your point and I will restore this option, but probably not as default.
