@praxeology@post.lurk.org about 15-20 years ago I got a small grant from Google Cloud to build a thing that seemed like such a great idea at the time: a system that pulled in multiple notifications from various platforms and consolidated them into unique Android notifications so that there was always only one copy of notifications, in the same place every time. I very quickly realized, though, that what I actually wanted was "no notifications at all," turned off all notifications and never worked on it again lol
