I keep seeing people discourse-ing about the #discord #ageVerification thing. How it is dystopian, how it has ties to nazi supporter Peter Thiel, etc. ... But all through it I'm like. You people are talking like this is some big surprise? Like this isn't perfectly expected and in-character? Discord has *always* been utter shit. Their TOS has always been abusive. They have always been a shitty evil corporation, owned by an even shittier, eviler corporation. Why are ANY of you acting like this is surprising? Were you just not paying attention??
