@idzie@kolektiva.social Thank you, same :) they visit from time to time. These smaller ones use city green ways ground to mid level, tree top is all crow here..The largest Pileated I've seen was in a steep mountainous area with no crows present.

@miyotehew@turtleisland.social oh I'd never thought about different populations being different sizes, that's interesting. I think all the ones I've seen around me have been similarly large...
