Yeah, definitely something that could be much smoother respeccing into for NG+ rather than starting out as. I also imagine having to top up up ammo all the time might get a little annoying. You get some NG+ toys that are bound to be fun and powerful for ranged characters, though. NG+ spoiler The flamethrower.
