My regex backreference skills aren't there to capture non-two-word names, but at least the ones who have firstname.lastname@ec.europa.eu are correct on this one.

@gimulnautti@mastodon.green thanks 🙂 I'm not sure emails with special characters work... do they? If you used Python, you can add unicodedata.normalize("NFKD", your_string) to remove special characters (might not work for German ö if they transliterate it to oe, so that would need to be checked 1st). https://docs.python.org/3/library/unicodedata.html As for the content of the email, in English I think handpicking what matters to you from what or friends @noybeu@mastodon.social wrote would be a good start: https://noyb.eu/en/digital-omnibus-eu-commission-wants-wreck-core-gdpr-principles
