@crb@social.nondescript.design @randomwizard@social.vivaldi.net Well I'm not saying the modules couldn't be fun, just they are not good adventures compared to some of the other stuff of the era; they always seemed to me just a bunch of combats and dangerous situations linked with tight railroads.

@crb@social.nondescript.design @randomwizard@social.vivaldi.net just a note, as you can see from my nickname, I'm a huge fan of the series (at least those written by Weiss/Hickman) so I'm quite biased on the opposite side of what I'm saying.

@palin@livellosegreto.it @randomwizard@social.vivaldi.net Weirdly, when I played these in the mid 00s, my group *liked* that part of it. It really hit all of their wants in the game. Bunch of weirdos. I definitely wouldn't run it today, but I would crib off it. (Instead, I just play Dragonlance MUDs instead).
