@helge@mastodon.social UN and wikidata are huge general sources, for most other data you should define what is needed according to a question before doing your research. There are (geo-)data portals with metadata pointing to original sources. For the EU look at https://data.europa.eu/ to get an idea about many of the decentral sources.
