Is there any evidence that there are are companies who fired people that were successfully replaced by LLMs? I suspect that, if any, they are still avoiding delayed impacts in reduction in quality of the work.

@ThreeSigma@mastodon.online @KimCrayton1@dair-community.social The trick is to fire a load of employees at the same time as everyone else, so that there's then a surplus of skilled labour. When you need to rehire, you're in a strong position because the people you fired are finding it hard to get other jobs. In any market except the labour market, this would be illegal.
