I often wonder if neuro-typical people feel this way or if they just dissociate and retreat into their own bubble of mindless consumerism.
There seem to be people out there who are entirely unbothered by the current state of affairs.

@svavar@masto.svavar.com I think there are numerous answers to this question. Some do suffer, some blame other things, some blame themselves, some disassociate... people who seem ok with Capitalism have had to carve up their psyche in a thousand different ways to cope, and if you really get a moment to talk deeply about this topic, people either very nearly think like a psychopath or otherwise are deeply emotionally and mentally disturbed but too afraid to show weakness. 😕
