My preference would be for the latter. I'm not entirely sure how the future Scottish Government will handle that question.

I believe .ai is for "Anguilla" but the person who runs the instance - @stux@mstdn.social - is based in the Netherlands so I'm not convinced .ai is a true indicator of the physical location of the server. As far as I know it has nothing to do with "Artificial Intelligence", LLMs or anything like that. I just liked the information I saw about it when I was looking for a Mastodon home.
