The old BLOGosphere is very much alive; there are mountains of new content - on niche / extremely specific - topics produced all the time. I have a couple of BLOGs, and "Social Media" isn't interested in the content, but the people who matter find their way there. RSS remains the ultimate content curation technology. Nobody needs an algorithm; those things are not there for the reader or the creator, it is just content middlemaning. https://urbangr.org/
