@Axomamma@mastodon.online Twiggy is a 4 year old. We try to get a halter on the horses and train them to lead as early as we can. Under 6 months preferably. After that you get dragged around the park in the early stages. Rugs can be done at any age. Starting, for us, is about 3 years old. Any younger and their bodies aren't really ready for it.
