heard a good analogy for why we can charge batteries super fast to 80% but slow for the remaining 20%. Imagine filling a glass from a pitcher, it's fast to fill it mostly up but you have to slow down to not "spill" which IRL would mean a battery fire

@poppyhaze@girlcock.club I thought it had to do with how intercalation works, so the battery is more like a sponge than a pitcher. the more full a sponge is the slower it sucks up water
