By means of some weird niche TV channel I have the opportunity to watch the 1990s version of The Outer Limits. I'm a big fan of the original show from the 1960s and this iteration is mostly inferior in comparison. Many episodes are retreads of familiar concepts or plots from more well-known movies or TV shows like Alien or Star Trek, there's hardly an original idea. There are of course some outstanding episodes like 'I Robot' a remake of the 1960s episode of the same name and both are starring Leonard Nimoy! If nothing else you can play guess-who because a ton of actors, directors from well-known genre franchises like Star Trek, Stargate, X-Files are in almost any episode.
