@tootbrute@fedi.arkadi.one i set up a pi with libre elec for my parents which connects to my jellyfin. Libre elec uses kodi. Its a solid setup. However I don't know about commercial apps. If I would do it for myself, I'd probably try android TV first because the jellyfin app for android TV is visually more pleasing to me than kodi (but I'm also not someone who has spent much time with tweaking / customizing kodi... Maybe it can also look nice 😆)
