If I had money to waste, I would completely pay for someone to screencast and record themselves going through the entire bootstrap chain from bootstrappable.org in real time, without any automation. This last point makes it so that this requires you to be experienced in Linux, compiling software from source, and mostly importantly, searching for resources online.

@lobo@meemu.org the osnews guy is raising money by volunteering to subject himself to windows 11 if he gets N dollars. this sounds like it would be a more productive form of self-torture to raise money on. “if we raise N dollars I’ll build my own Linux distro from scratch”
